Cavalier Club Cow Drop Student Winner Donates to Calhoun Academy

The Cavalier Club held their annual cow drop fundraiser on December 4th. This year's cash winners were the following: First Place: Tripp Hungerpiller; Second Place: Emory Smith ('31); and Third Place: Clancee Felder.

Calhoun Academy third grader, Emory Smith ('31) received the second place cash prize of $1000. He decided to use some of his cash prize to buy some extra sporting equipment for the playground.

" I thought it was cool to donate something to the school," said Smith.

Calhoun Academy would like to extend a special to thank you to Emory and the Smith family on their generous donation.
