Friday, April 4, 2008, marks the date of the annual Miss Calhoun Academy Pageant.
The pageant begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Calhoun Academy gym. Miss Calhoun Academy
2007, Maggie Ott, will be in attendance to assist with crowning the Miss Calhoun
Academy. Admission for adults is $5.00 and $2.00 for students. Titles awarded
are Miss Elementary, Miss Junior High, and Miss Calhoun Academy. Runners-up in
each division will be recognized as well as Miss Freshman, Miss Sophomore, Miss
Junior, and Miss Senior. A variety of entertainers will perform at the pageant
including Sydney Porth, Sarah Grace Jarecki, Cameron King, Rachel Troutman, Taylor
McKeowen, Megan Carn, Terri Swofford, and Payton Jamieson. Everyone is invited
to attend the festivities. Be prepared to be entertained!
The fifth six weeks ends Wednesday, April 16, 2008, and students will receive
report cards the following Wednesday.
Calhoun Academy’s Social Study Fair will be open to the public Monday, April
21, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
